Role Summary:
Seeking a Data Governance Lead with 8+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, and Data Quality. The role will establish enterprise governance frameworks, improve data quality, manage metadata/catalogs, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive data stewardship across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Data Governance frameworks, policies, standards, and operating models.
- Establish data ownership, stewardship, and accountability.
- Drive data quality, metadata, data lineage, and MDM initiatives.
- Manage Data Catalog platforms such as Collibra, Informatica, Alation, or Microsoft Purview.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, SOX, HIPAA, and other regulations.
- Partner with business, IT, security, and data teams on governance requirements.
- Lead governance councils, stakeholder training, audits, and risk assessments.
- Develop governance KPIs, dashboards, and maturity scorecards.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years in Data Governance / Data Management / Data Quality
- 3+ years leading governance initiatives
- DAMA-DMBOK knowledge
- Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata, Data Lineage, MDM
- Collibra / Informatica / Alation / Microsoft Purview
- SQL, Data Warehousing
- Strong stakeholder and communication skills
Preferred: CDMP certification, Master's degree, Azure/AWS/GCP, Agile experience.

Requirements
Requires 8+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or data quality, including 3+ years leading governance initiatives, and knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK. Candidates should have experience with governance, data quality, metadata, lineage, MDM, catalog platforms, SQL, and data warehousing, along with strong stakeholder and communication skills; CDMP certification, a master's degree, cloud experience, and Agile experience are preferred.
