Role : Java Spring Boot Developer – Microservices

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada

Experience: 8+ Years

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Java Spring Boot Developer with strong expertise in microservices architecture, REST API development, and MongoDB to join our team in Toronto.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and microservices following software design patterns and architectural standards.
  • Work with MongoDB, SQL Server, Kafka, and multithreading.
  • Implement application security using Spring Security and support batch processing with Spring Batch.
  • Participate in all phases of the SDLC, following Agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using GitHub, Jenkins CI/CD, and monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST API development.
  • Hands-on experience with MongoDB and SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of Kafka, GitHub, Jenkins, and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

Spring Security, Spring Batch, Angular, Azure Cloud, Python, PySpark, Databricks, Delta Lake, and Autosys.
