Role : Mainframe Developer
Location: Toronto, ON | Hybrid | 8+ Years
Job Description:
Seeking a Mainframe Developer to develop, enhance, and support enterprise banking applications on IBM z/OS.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM applications.
- Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, and production support.
- Troubleshoot application and batch-processing issues.
- Develop and maintain JCL jobs and batch processes.
- Collaborate with BA, QA, development, and production support teams.
- Participate in deployments, code reviews, and SDLC/Agile activities.
- Ensure applications meet RBC security, quality, and compliance standards.
Must-Have: COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, z/OS, Batch Processing, Production Support.
Nice to Have: MQ, CA7/Control-M, REXX, Endevor/Changeman, Banking/Financial Services.
