We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. The successful candidate will support critical enterprise applications while contributing to modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, maintain, and support mainframe applications and batch processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure system stability.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver application enhancements.
- Support mainframe modernization, legacy transformation, and cloud migration initiatives.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployments, and release activities.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.
🔹 Required Skills
- Strong experience with COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
- Experience with CICS and/or IMS is an asset.
- Strong production support and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with mainframe batch processing and application development.
- Exposure to cloud platforms or mainframe modernization is preferred.
