Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced QE Program Manager to lead and manage quality engineering and testing activities across multiple projects within the banking and financial services domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing test strategies, managing QA teams, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
The candidate should have strong experience in program management, quality engineering, test automation, and Agile methodologies. Banking or financial services experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage quality engineering programs across multiple projects and teams.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and quality standards.
- Manage and coordinate QA, test automation, and business testing teams.
- Oversee functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing activities.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, business stakeholders, and technology leadership.
- Monitor testing progress, quality metrics, risks, dependencies, and defect resolution.
- Ensure timely delivery of testing milestones and program objectives.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to software quality, testing, and release readiness.
- Drive continuous improvement in quality engineering processes, tools, and automation.
- Provide regular program status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong experience in Quality Engineering and Test Program Management.
- Experience managing large-scale QA and testing programs.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, test strategy, and quality assurance processes.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and quality engineering tools.
- Knowledge of defect management, quality metrics, and release management.
- Experience working with Jira, ALM, or similar test management tools.
- Strong problem-solving and risk management skills.
Banking Domain Experience
- Experience working in the Banking / Financial Services domain.
- Knowledge of banking applications, financial transactions, and enterprise systems.
- Experience with banking platforms, payments, digital banking, or financial services testing is preferred.
- Understanding of regulatory, security, and compliance requirements in banking environments is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing distributed QA and QE teams.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with automation testing and modern quality engineering practices.
- Experience managing multiple projects, releases, and cross-functional dependencies.
- Strong reporting and communication skills with senior stakeholders.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or QA management.
- Previous experience in QE program management or test delivery leadership.
- Banking or financial services experience preferred.
