Title: ServiceNow Solution Architect
Location: Vancouver , BC , Canada (BC Hydro Account)
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Solution Architect to lead end-to-end architecture across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and SecOps. The ideal candidate will drive platform strategy, solution design, integrations, governance, and technical delivery for a large enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own ServiceNow architecture across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and SecOps.
- Design scalable solutions aligned with CSDM and enterprise architecture standards.
- Lead ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and SLA.
- Define CMDB governance, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management strategies.
- Guide SecOps implementation, including Security Incident and Vulnerability Response.
- Design integrations using REST/SOAP, MID Server, and IntegrationHub.
- Oversee scripting, Flow Designer, workflows, upgrades, and platform performance.
- Establish architecture governance, release management, and technical best practices.
- Engage with stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10–15+ years of overall IT experience with strong ServiceNow architecture experience.
- Expertise in ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and SecOps.
- Strong knowledge of CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB governance.
- Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, and IntegrationHub.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and enterprise integrations.
- Knowledge of ATF, upgrades, performance optimization, and release management.
- Strong stakeholder management and architecture governance experience.
- ITIL, Agile, and DevOps knowledge.
Good to Have:
- Utility or regulated enterprise experience.
- Event Management/AIOps and Vulnerability Response.
- Managed services and large-scale enterprise implementations.
