Role: Tandem Developer – Mainframe

Job Description
We are looking for a Tandem Developer with strong experience in HP NonStop/Tandem mainframe environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications on Tandem/HP NonStop systems.
- Work with COBOL, TAL, and TACL programming languages.
- Develop and support batch and online applications.
- Perform coding, debugging, testing, and production support.
- Work with SQL/Enscribe databases for data processing.
- Analyze production issues and provide technical solutions.
- Perform application enhancements and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and other technical teams.
- Prepare technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Tandem/HP NonStop development.
- Strong experience with Tandem COBOL.
- Hands-on experience with TAL/TACL.
- Good knowledge of SQL and Enscribe.
- Experience with batch processing and production support.
- Understanding of mainframe concepts and application architecture.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with Pathway.
- Knowledge of Guardian operating system.
- Experience with MQ or messaging systems.
- Knowledge of C, Java, or other programming languages.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or other high-volume transaction environments
