We're Hiring: Business Systems Analyst (API Integration)
Location: Toronto, ON (4 Days Onsite – Mandatory)
Interview: Face-to-Face Interview Required (L1 and/or Client Interview)
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst with strong expertise in REST API integrations, enterprise system connectivity, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to define and deliver API-driven integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business and technical requirements for API integrations.
- Define API specifications, interface requirements, and data mappings.
- Work with REST APIs, JSON/XML payloads, and microservices.
- Analyze API requests/responses and troubleshoot integration issues.
- Create process flows, sequence diagrams, and functional specifications.
- Coordinate with vendors, architects, and development teams.
- Support API testing, integration testing, and UAT.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise integration and security standards.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience.
- Strong experience with REST APIs and API integrations.
- Knowledge of JSON, XML, and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Postman and Swagger.
- Strong SQL skills and data validation experience.
- Experience with API documentation, data mapping, and interface specifications.
- Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
