Original job description
We are looking for an experienced IT Data Modeler with strong Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain experience to support enterprise data modeling initiatives across insurance operations, analytics, and regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities
• Design Conceptual, Logical & Physical Data Models
• Develop models for Policy, Claims, Billing, Customer, Broker, Risk, Coverage & Reinsurance domains
• Build Star & Snowflake dimensional models for analytics and reporting
• Create and maintain Source-to-Target Mappings, Metadata & Data Dictionaries
• Support Data Quality, Data Governance, Database Optimization & Compliance
• Collaborate with Business, Architecture, Engineering & Analytics teams
Required Skills
• 5+ years of Data Modeling & Database Design experience
• 3+ years of P&C Insurance domain experience
• Strong knowledge of Relational Database Design & Enterprise Data Structures
• Experience with Conceptual, Logical & Physical Data Modeling
• Strong ER Modeling & Dimensional Modeling experience
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Strong knowledge of Normalization & Denormalization
• Experience with Data Governance, Metadata Management & Data Quality
• Experience with ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, or Visio
