Original job description

We are looking for an experienced Databricks Architect to design, implement, and govern enterprise-scale data platforms on Azure Databricks.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Design Azure Databricks workspace, compute, networking, and private-access architecture
Design enterprise Data Lake / Lakehouse architecture using Bronze, Checkpoint, Archive, and Quarantine zones
Develop HLD/LLD and establish platform architecture standards
Implement security and governance using Unity Catalog and Azure Key Vault
Configure and secure ADLS Gen2, Private Endpoints, and access controls
Design source-system connectivity, authentication, and data ingestion frameworks
Define cluster, runtime, operational, and security standards
Lead Databricks environment deployment and configuration
Support testing, troubleshooting, validation, and production readiness
Implement CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and govern enterprise-scale Azure Databricks platforms, including Lakehouse architecture, networking, security, data governance, and ingestion frameworks. Establish platform standards and lead infrastructure automation, CI/CD, testing, troubleshooting, and production readiness.

Requirements

Requires strong Azure Databricks architecture and administration experience, with expertise in ADLS Gen2, Unity Catalog, Azure Key Vault, private connectivity, networking, IAM, and security. Candidates should also have experience with enterprise data platforms, Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, and data integration and ingestion patterns.
