WE’RE HIRING: Domain Architect / SME – Fraud Management
Location: Toronto, ON (4 days/week onsite)
We are looking for an experienced Domain Architect / Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Fraud Management to provide strategic, business, and technical leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong domain expertise, enterprise architecture experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and sustainable technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary SME for the Fraud Management domain.
- Define domain architecture strategies, roadmaps, standards, and governance.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, and engineering teams.
- Translate business objectives into technology initiatives and architectural solutions.
- Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and impact analyses.
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and organizational standards.
- Support technology delivery throughout the implementation and deployment lifecycle.
- Identify opportunities for digital transformation, modernization, and process optimization.
- Mentor technical teams and drive domain best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of overall IT experience, including at least 5 years in Domain Architecture or SME roles.
- Strong expertise in Fraud Management, business processes, domain modeling, and enterprise architecture.
- Experience designing large-scale enterprise solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with Agile, DevOps, and modern software delivery practices.
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Experience in Fraud Management, Banking, Financial Services, Risk, or Compliance.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Familiarity with API-led architecture, microservices, event-driven architecture, and data architecture.
- Knowledge of TOGAF, Zachman, or ArchiMate frameworks.
- Relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
