We are looking for an experienced GCP Backend Fullstack Engineer with strong expertise in Python, FastAPI, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to develop, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPI.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Deploy containerized applications using Docker and Google Cloud Run.
  • Integrate applications with databases, third-party APIs, and GCP services.
  • Work with Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, Firestore, and GKE.
  • Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth2, JWT, and IAM.
  • Build CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or similar tools.
  • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and improve reliability.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, DevOps, and frontend teams in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Python backend development.
  • Experience with FastAPI; Flask or Django experience is also relevant.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud Run and Docker containerization.
  • Experience designing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Cloud SQL, Firestore, or BigQuery.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
  • Understanding of API security, authentication, authorization, and cloud-native architecture.
  • Familiarity with GCP monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting tools.
