We’re Hiring: Lead Middleware Platform Architect
Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid)
Experience: 10+ Years
Interview: Face-to-Face (F2F)
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Lead Middleware Platform Architect to lead the design, implementation, automation, and operationalization of enterprise middleware and platform environments for a global financial institution.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Linux administration, Kubernetes/OpenShift, infrastructure automation, observability, and production readiness.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong Linux Administration experience
- Kubernetes / OpenShift
- Infrastructure Automation (Terraform / Ansible)
- Monitoring and Observability
- Production Readiness and Support
- Scripting (Shell / Python)
- Mission-Critical Production Environment Support
- Security and Resiliency Principles
Nice to Have:
- RDF / RDF Triple Store
- Graph Database Technologies
- Financial Services / Banking experience
- Cloud Platform Exposure
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead middleware and platform architecture initiatives.
- Design and implement infrastructure automation.
- Drive monitoring, logging, and observability.
- Ensure platform stability, security, and scalability.
- Develop production runbooks and disaster recovery procedures.
- Lead production readiness reviews and go-live activities.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and development teams.

Improve observability, stability, security, and scalability, and lead production readiness, go-live activities, runbooks, and disaster recovery planning in collaboration with infrastructure, security, and development teams.
Requirements
Requires 10+ years of experience and strong skills in Linux administration, Kubernetes or OpenShift, infrastructure automation with Terraform or Ansible, observability, production readiness and support, and Shell or Python scripting. Experience supporting mission-critical production environments and applying security and resiliency principles is required; RDF, graph databases, financial services, and cloud platform experience are advantageous but not mandatory.
