We are looking for a Senior Mainframe DevOps / SCM Consultant with strong experience in IBM z/OS, CA Endevor, Git, IBM DBB, and IDD/Wazi to support mainframe modernization and SCM migration projects.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Lead CA Endevor → Git/IBM DBB/IDD migration projects.
- Assess legacy SCM workflows and design migration strategies.
- Architect and support Git + IBM DBB DevOps pipelines.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot DBB/Git/IDD environments on z/OS and USS.
- Analyze, convert, and validate Endevor applications.
- Troubleshoot Git, DBB, Wazi/IDD, pipeline, and build issues.
- Work directly with clients and IBM teams on technical delivery.
- Conduct training, knowledge transfer, and technical presentations.
- Document migration processes, best practices, and technical solutions.
🛠️ Required Skills
- Strong IBM z/OS and USS experience.
- Hands-on CA Endevor / SCM experience.
- Strong Git and repository/branching knowledge.
- Hands-on IBM DBB experience.
- Experience with IDD/Wazi Deployment.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and build troubleshooting.
- YAML / Groovy scripting experience.
- Strong application development or systems programming background.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-determination skills.
- Strong customer-facing consulting and communication skills.
- Experience delivering technical training/knowledge transfer.
🎓 Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of Systems Programmer/Mainframe experience.
- 4+ years of customer-facing consulting experience.
- Mainframe modernization and SCM migration experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
Lead migrations from CA Endevor to Git, IBM DBB, and IDD, including assessing legacy workflows, designing migration strategies, and converting and validating applications. Configure and troubleshoot mainframe DevOps environments and pipelines, collaborate with clients and IBM teams, and deliver training, knowledge transfer, and technical documentation.
Requirements
Requires strong IBM z/OS and USS, CA Endevor, Git, IBM DBB, IDD/Wazi Deployment, CI/CD, and YAML or Groovy experience, along with excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least 8 years of mainframe or systems programming experience, and at least 4 years of customer-facing consulting experience; modernization and SCM migration experience are highly preferred.
