🔹 Role Overview
We are looking for an Oracle DBA / SRE Support Engineer to support critical production environments. This role combines Oracle Database Administration, Linux/Unix Administration, Production Support, and SRE responsibilities.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain Oracle databases in production environments
- Monitor database and system health and troubleshoot production issues
- Perform Oracle DBA activities including monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Administer Linux/Unix systems and investigate system-level issues
- Develop and maintain Shell/Bash scripts for automation and support
- Analyze logs, alerts, performance issues, and production incidents
- Participate in incident management and root-cause analysis
- Support maintenance activities, deployments, and operational tasks
- Participate in an on-call rotation and provide off-hours support when required
🔹 Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in Oracle DBA / Production Support
- Strong Oracle Database administration and troubleshooting skills
- Strong Linux/Unix administration experience
- Hands-on Shell/Bash scripting
- Experience supporting critical production environments
- Knowledge of monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting
- SRE/production support mindset
- Willingness to participate in on-call/off-hours support
- Must be comfortable working onsite in Toronto
