We’re Hiring: Production Support – Mainframe
Location: Toronto, ON (4 Days Onsite 1day WFH)
Work Model: Onsite – 4 Days a Week
Interview: Face-to-Face (L1 / CI)
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Production Support Specialist to join our team in Toronto. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in mainframe application maintenance, production support, and troubleshooting in a banking environment.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong experience in Mainframe Production Support with on-call rotation.
- Hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, IMS (DB/Online/Batch), and DB2.
- Experience with MQSeries, Git/Endevor, and Zeke.
- Strong software maintenance and production troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Post-secondary education is required.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- z/OS Connect, IDz, and zUnit.
- Test automation experience.
- Mainframe CI/CD pipeline experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide production support and troubleshoot mainframe applications.
- Support banking services and ensure application stability.
- Lead conversion, attestation, and audit initiatives.
- Analyze business and technical requirements.
- Maintain technical documentation and coordinate with IT teams.
- Provide after-hours production support when required (rare).
Important: This is a Production Support role, NOT a Mainframe Developer position.
