WE’RE HIRING: Senior Java Full Stack Developer
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Experience: 5+ Years
🏢 Industry: Financial Services
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer to join our team and contribute to building scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications within a complex financial-services environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Angular or React, REST APIs, Kafka, cloud technologies, and containerized deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable Java and Spring Boot microservices.
- Build responsive web applications using Angular or React.
- Develop secure RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations.
- Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
- Work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB for data management and optimization.
- Deploy applications using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or AWS.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Apply security standards using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Spring Security.
- Develop automated tests and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Collaborate with architecture, QA, DevOps, product, and support teams.
Required Technical Skills:
✅ Java 8+ and Spring Boot
✅ Spring MVC, Hibernate, and Microservices
✅ Angular or React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
✅ REST APIs and Apache Kafka
✅ PostgreSQL and MongoDB
✅ Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
✅ Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Maven, and Git
✅ OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Spring Security
✅ JUnit, Postman, and Agile methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in banking, payments, or financial services.
- Exposure to AWS, EKS, or ECS.
- Knowledge of PCI-DSS-aligned application controls.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Redis, or JMeter.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
