SAP FICO Consultant

We are seeking an SAP FICO Analyst to support Finance systems, business processes, and SAP initiatives. This role serves as the primary liaison between Finance and IT, translating business requirements into SAP solutions while supporting day-to-day operations, system enhancements, and project implementations. The ideal candidate combines strong SAP FICO expertise with business process knowledge and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for SAP Finance solutions, resolving incidents and service requests within established SLAs.
• Partner with Finance stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into functional solutions.
• Configure and support SAP FICO modules and related Finance processes.
• Create and maintain functional specifications, testing documentation, and process artifacts.
• Support system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and stabilization activities.
• Execute testing activities, document results, and support quality assurance efforts.
• Analyze and resolve production issues while proactively monitoring business processes and system performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to deliver effective SAP solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and business optimization.
• Support deployment planning, risk management, and production readiness activities.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of SAP implementation and production support experience.
• Strong SAP FICO configuration experience.
• Experience with RE, PS, and IDocs.
• Knowledge of SAP integrations with Materials Management (MM) and Sales & Distribution (SD).
• Configuration experience in at least two functional areas across MM, SD, or related business modules.
• Experience participating in at least one large-scale SAP Finance implementation project.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deliverables simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
• English and French fluency.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with complex SAP Finance transformations and system integration initiatives.
• Knowledge of Purchasing, Inventory Management, Logistics Invoice Verification, or Procurement processes.
• Experience supporting Sales & Distribution processes including billing, credit management, and sales agreements.
• Strong business process analysis and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Leadership experience and ability to drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building skills.
• Experience working in multi-site or enterprise-scale environments.
