This organization is renowned for its innovative approach to retail and its commitment to operational excellence, especially within its rapidly expanding eCommerce channels. Join a team where your contributions directly support the seamless flow of online transactions and enhance the customer experience across well-known brands.

Are you a detail-oriented problem-solver eager to make a tangible impact on a high-volume eCommerce operation? This one-year contract opportunity as a key member of the eCommerce operations team offers an exciting chance to ensure online orders move smoothly from click to delivery. You will be instrumental in maintaining operational efficiency, collaborating with a diverse network of vendors and internal partners, and directly contributing to customer satisfaction by resolving critical order and shipment issues. This role is perfect for an early-career professional ready to dive into a dynamic retail environment and gain invaluable hands-on experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Efficiently manage a busy operational inbox, serving as a primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, store questions, order issues, and customer service escalations.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into order discrepancies, delayed shipments, cancellations, missing information, and inventory availability challenges to identify root causes.
  • Actively coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to gather necessary information, facilitate issue resolution, and provide timely, accurate updates.
  • Proactively review daily reports, dashboards, and tracking systems to pinpoint outstanding orders and operational exceptions, ensuring swift action.
  • Maintain meticulous records, detailed case notes, and organized tracking systems to ensure data integrity and traceability.
  • Execute established processes for resolving routine operational issues and adeptly escalate more complex situations to appropriate channels when required.
  • Identify and document recurring operational issues, sharing observations and insights that can lead to continuous process improvements for the team.

What You’ll Bring

  • 1–3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment such as eCommerce operations, order management, vendor support, fulfillment, supply chain, or customer support operations. Relevant internship or co-op experience is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple requests, cases, orders, or operational tasks concurrently while consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Exceptional written communication skills and the confidence to interact professionally with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Proven practical problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to investigate complex issues thoroughly and drive them to successful resolution.
  • Proficiency in using Excel, spreadsheets, reports, or other operational tracking systems to manage and analyze data.
  • A strong commitment to attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the capability to manage routine, high-volume workloads with precision.
  • A collaborative and dependable approach, coupled with an eagerness to learn new systems and adapt to evolving processes.

What Will Set You Apart

  • Experience with dropshipping models, online marketplaces, or vendor fulfillment operations.
  • Familiarity with key supply chain documents and processes such as purchase orders, shipment tracking, advance shipping notices (ASNs), or inventory updates.
  • Experience utilizing DSCO or similar order and vendor management platforms.
  • Exposure to Power BI or other operational dashboards for data visualization and analysis.
  • Previous experience working within a large retail or multi-brand organizational structure.

Why This Opportunity?

  • Impact Across Recognized Brands: Support the eCommerce operations for several well-known Canadian retail brands, contributing to their continued success and customer satisfaction.
  • Build Valuable Expertise: Develop critical skills in online order fulfillment, vendor operations management, and cross-functional problem-solving within a leading retail environment.
