Original job description

Aquent is proud to partner with a leading enterprise retailer, a true innovator that is revolutionizing its industry through cutting-edge marketing and technology solutions. This organization operates at an immense scale, shaping trends and impacting countless customers. They are deeply committed to leveraging advanced technology to elevate their marketing ecosystem and deliver unparalleled experiences for their vast customer base.

Are you a master of integration, ready to drive technological advancement within a vibrant and dynamic marketing ecosystem? This is an extraordinary opportunity to make a significant impact by enhancing existing integrations and forging innovative solutions that seamlessly link core marketing, content, and product platforms. As a pivotal technical resource, you will move beyond administration to truly shape and evolve the technology landscape, connecting and optimizing critical systems. If you thrive on unraveling complex technical puzzles, diving deep into system architecture, and becoming the go-to expert for integration challenges, this role offers an exciting path to directly influence a large-scale marketing technology environment, shaping the future of integrations and contributing to the product roadmap.

What You’ll Do

Design, build, maintain, and optimize Workfront Fusion scenarios and integrations across an enterprise marketing technology environment.
Evaluate existing Fusion integrations to identify and implement improvements for reliability, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
Troubleshoot integration issues, perform root-cause analysis, and develop durable solutions that prevent recurrence.
Collaborate with Product Management to translate business and roadmap requirements into effective technical integration solutions.
Connect Workfront with essential platforms such as DAM, PIM/PCM, and other marketing and content technologies.
Configure and work with APIs, connectors, authentication, data mapping, JSON transformations, webhooks, and advanced integration logic.
Strengthen monitoring, alerting, logging, and error handling mechanisms across all integrations to ensure robust system performance.
Partner with Product, IT, technology partners, and vendors on critical integration initiatives and technical issue resolution.
Participate in release planning and launch readiness, including assessing technical dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Document integrations, data flows, technical processes, and troubleshooting procedures to ensure clarity and knowledge transfer.
Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to subject matter experts (SMEs) and power users, fostering internal troubleshooting capabilities.

What You’ll Bring

Proven hands-on experience designing and developing Workfront Fusion integrations in production environments.
Strong experience building Fusion scenarios utilizing connectors, authentication, data mapping, error handling, and version management.
Strong understanding of the Workfront platform, including its data model, workflows, and custom forms.
Experience working with REST APIs, OAuth, JSON, webhooks, and system-to-system integrations.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, debug, and perform root-cause analysis on complex integrations.
Experience reviewing or reverse-engineering existing integrations and improving their functionality and efficiency.
Ability to work independently as a technical subject-matter expert while collaborating effectively with Product and IT teams.
Strong documentation and communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to business stakeholders.

Nice to Have

Experience integrating Workfront with DAM, PIM, PCM, content management, or other marketing technology platforms.
Experience with the broader Adobe technology ecosystem.
Background working within large enterprise or multi-vendor technology environments.
Experience with data modeling, data normalization, or integrations spanning multiple brands or business units.
Experience with Workfront governance, licensing, and enterprise-scale adoption.
Experience training or enabling technical power users.
