We are hiring full-time Baristas to join our team at Starbucks on Carleton University campus. The Barista serves customers by preparing specialty beverages, assisting with food preparation, compiling orders and receiving payment.

About the Job

• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring speedy delivery of beverages and food orders
• Prepare espresso, coffee and tea specialty beverages
• Compile orders accurately and in a timely fashion
• Stock shelves and refrigerators
• Clean counters and tables, clear service areas and empty garbage
• Keep work area clean and organized at all times
• Receive payment by cash, debit/credit card and campus card
• Ensure adherence to all of Aramark Policies and Procedures
• May perform other job duties as required

About You

• Experience in the restaurant/coffee shop/food service industry is an asset
• Must have strong customer service skills
• Working with others in a team setting
• Must be able to follow direction and work with minimal supervision

The selected candidate for this position will need to complete and successfully pass a Criminal Background Check.

The hourly wage for this position is $19.08
