Pay Range: $42,100 to $58,200; pay is dependent on year of study and related experience
Duration: Eight (8) months, January 8, 2027 – August 13, 2027

As the Circular Innovation Co-op student at Arc’teryx, you are stepping into a dynamic role at the intersection of innovation and impact. Embedded within the Care & Repair team, The Circular Innovation Co-op student is responsible for supporting the implementation of repairability requirements needed to qualify Arc’teryx’s circular product ranges. The Circular Innovation Co-op student will work closely with the Care & Repair Circular Innovation Specialist, creative product and sustainability teams to ensure longevity, repairability, raw material and end-of-life requirements are fulfilled on a seasonal basis. The circular qualification initiative feeds directly into Care & Repair’s overall mandate to repair more, reduce waste, while keeping the good in play.
Throughout your Co-op, you will be exposed to cross-functional collaboration, building partnerships and trust by clearly communicating to influence change. The role sets the foundation for future careers in product development, supply chain, and sustainability.

The Care and Repair team is a key pillar of the ReBIRD program, where circularity lies at the core of our sustainability vision. As the operational backbone of the program, we develop scalable processes and implement them across our global network - actively contributing to our broader mission of creating durable, long-lasting products and services that serve not only our guests but also the planet. Our team is focused on building and rolling out the processes and operations that deliver an exceptional guest experience across all commercial touchpoints - including Guest Services, After-Sales, Brand Activations, Retail, and eCommerce.
If you were a Circular Innovation Co-op Student now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Supporting the coordination of qualifying circular products in partnership with the Sustainability team
- Supporting the implementation and development of repairability requirements for circular products
- Collecting product returns data and sharing it with product development teams
- Creating clear and concise presentation decks that showcase returns data and repairability metrics
- Assisting with testing new materials, tools, and repair methods to support innovation initiatives.
- Organizing repair testing and trialing with Arc’One ReBird Repair Centre, Design & Product Development teams
- Co-owning the circular product wear and wash testing program
- Tracking project milestones, timelines, and actions within project management platforms
- Supporting the documentation and continuous improvement of repair standards, manuals, and techniques with the ARC’One ReBird Repair team
- Coordinating and compiling information required for external circularity surveys and reporting.
Here are some of the things you will learn by the end of your Co-op placement:
- Learning how to interpret, analyse and communicate returns data and repairability metrics to cross functional partners
- Learning the fundamentals of the textile supply chain and how products are created from idea to commercialisation
- Creating repair specific BOMs based on the Arcteryx standardized raw material toolkit
- Learning how to use technical material testing technology and methodology
- Learning how to use Centric to track materials and ensure they meet repairability standards

- You are a third- or fourth-year student studying fashion, textile science, or sustainability
- You have an interest in fashion design, designing for repairability and the product creation process
- You have experience with quantitative data analysis and Excel, and are proficient in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint
- You have critical thinking skills and the ability to communicate clearly about the rationale

Compensation:$42,100 to $58,200; Individual pay is determined by factors such as program of study, year of study, job-related skills, and relevant experience.
