Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As the Digital Merchandising Specialist, you will work closely with the Manager, Digital Merchandising to execute all Arc’teryx seasonal Ecommerce search, merchandise, and product discovery strategies. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are able to create product merchandising and discovery plans that balance brand storytelling initiatives with sales data to meet Ecommerce growth targets and brand platform goals. You will create measurable testing scenarios to validate strategy, efficiency, and impact while actively seeking input from cross-functional departments. You have experience working with product line plans, seasonal merchandise calendars, and an understanding of colour stories within product assortments. You are a detail-oriented team player with an aptitude for problem-solving, experience in digital merchandising, and excellent organizational skills.

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to a hybrid work schedule. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Meet Your Future Team:

The Digital Merchandising and Campaign Team is responsible for our product list pages, product search, digital marketplace, homepage, and product campaigns that support our E-Commerce and Brand strategy across multiple regions, languages, and websites. We ensure the display, categorization, and taxonomy strategy evolves alongside business strategy and is optimized for all regional Arcteryx.com websites and apps.

If you were the Digital Merchandising Specialist now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Own and optimize merchandising across Product Listing Pages (PLPs), ensuring product ranking, assortment, filtering, and presentation support seasonal priorities, product strategies, inventory, and conversion goals

  • Lead the ongoing optimization of the on-site Search experience, including search results, ranking, synonyms, redirects, autosuggest, and merchandising rules to improve product discovery and relevance

  • Develop and execute digital merchandising strategies across mobile, desktop, and app that connect navigation, Search, and PLPs to create a more intuitive product discovery journey

  • Manage in-season product merchandising and optimization, responding to product launches, inventory shifts, regional assortment differences, and emerging business opportunities

  • Analyze Search and PLP performance to identify opportunities across search engagement, zero-result searches, product visibility, click-through, conversion, and overall guest behavior

  • Translate performance insights into actionable optimizations, continuously testing and refining product ranking, merchandising rules, filters, sorting, and discovery experiences

  • Partner with Digital Merchandising, eCommerce, Product, UX, Analytics, and Technology teams to identify and prioritize enhancements to Search, and PLPs

  • Support regional merchandising strategies across multiple markets, languages, and sites, ensuring Search and PLP experiences reflect regional assortment, inventory, and commercial priorities

  • Support personalization, segmentation, and testing strategies across Search and PLPs to deliver more relevant product experiences and improve conversion

  • Establish and share Search and merchandising insights and best practices across the Digital Merchandising team, helping inform broader optimization opportunities and seasonal strategies

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

  • Looking for opportunities to enhance guest engagement and conversion through product discovery and online experience

  • Developing a strong understanding of data structures and interconnectedness of digital platforms used by Arc’teryx

  • Proactively seeking ways to streamline and improve processes and tasks
