Duration: Eight (8) months, Jan 4, 2026 – Aug 13, 2026

Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week, M-F

Your Co-Op Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As the Retail Communications Co-op Student, you will be responsible for the end-to-end process of delivering communications to our 80+ stores across North America.

In this role, you write and edit communications while navigating competing priorities. You will also be responsible for supporting large-scale communications initiatives in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Through hands-on experience, mentorship, and project ownership, you will develop communication strategy, copywriting, and stakeholder management capabilities that will prepare you for future opportunities in Retail and Internal Communications.

In this role you will learn and use the following technology: Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management Tools such as Smartsheet or Monday.com, Retail Zipline, and AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude AI.

Meet your future team: The function of the Retail Communications team is to distill complex information into clear, timely, and actionable communications for our 80+ stores across North America. We partner with all teams across the business to deliver content that ensures our store teams have all the information they need to confidently deliver exceptional guest experiences and execute key business priorities.

If you were a Retail Communications Co-Op Student now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

Collaborating with cross-functional partners to gather and validate information.

Drafting and publishing clear and engaging communications through Zipline.

Analyzing communication engagement metrics and insights to identify opportunities to improve message effectiveness.

Exploring and proposing approaches to communications beyond written communications, such as video, podcasts, visual storytelling to enhance how information is received by retail teams.

Here are some of the things you will learn by the end of your Co-Op placement:By the end of your Co-Op term, you will have experience translating complex information into clear, actionable messaging and using communication technologies and analytics to drive engagement. This, paired with cross-functional collaboration within a global retail environment, is a strong foundation to support future growth in Retail or Internal Communications.Are you our next Retail Communications Co-Op Student?

You are actively enrolled in a post-secondary institution, studying Communications or a related field.

You have exceptional written communication skills, with an interest in writing and editing.

You demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You have a keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

You are passionate about and have an interest in storytelling – both written, and other forms.

You are curious about emerging technologies and how they can be leveraged to improve communications.

While prior experience in a retail environment is not mandatory, it is a strong bonus.

The salary range for this role is CAD $42,100 - $55,100; Individual pay is determined by factors such as program of study, year of study, job-related skills, and relevant experience.
