Role description:
Our Toronto Studio is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intermediate Landscape Architect or Landscape Architectural Technologist to join our team.
In this role, you will support the delivery of some of the GTA’s largest transit infrastructure projects, with an immediate focus on the Hazel McCallion Line LRT. Working within a multidisciplinary team environment, you will contribute to both design production and construction administration services.
Role accountabilities:
- Prepare technical design drawings, construction documents and specifications for major infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with civil, utilities, transportation, and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
- Support active contract administration activities during construction.
- Review construction progress, perform site inspections, and prepare field review reports.
- Assist with shop drawing reviews, RFI responses and deficiency tracking
- Ensure project deliverables comply with municipal standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings and client presentations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A degree or diploma from an accredited institution in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Architectural Technology, or a related field
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably supporting infrastructure, transit, public realm, or municipal landscape projects
- Previous experience working on large transit, LRT, rail, roadway, or municipal infrastructure projects is considered an asset
- Experience supporting the preparation and production of contract documents, including plans, details, specifications and quantities
- Experience with construction administration activities, including site reviews, preparation of field reports, deficiency tracking, shop drawing reviews, and RFIs
- Ability to conduct regular site visits throughout the GTA and document construction progress
- Proficiency in MicroStation and AutoCAD; experience with Civil 3D is considered an asset
- Experience reviewing and coordinating drawings with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, utilities, transportation, and engineering disciplines
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a collaborative project team environment
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to quality in the preparation and review of technical documentation
- Working knowledge of Ontario construction practices, municipal standards, and contract administration procedures is considered an asset
- A valid driver's license is considered an asset

The salary range for this position is $71,000- $106,000. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
