Perform and oversee heating and cooling load calculations, equipment selection, energy modelling, and system optimization.
Coordinate closely with architectural, structural, electrical, civil, and specialty engineering disciplines.
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements in collaboration with project managers.
Conduct technical reviews of drawings, shop drawings, RFIs, change orders, and contractor submissions.
Lead site investigations, condition assessments, field reviews, and commissioning activities.
Identify sustainable and energy-efficient solutions that support client decarbonization and net-zero objectives.
Mentor and develop intermediate and junior engineers, designers, and technical staff.
Support proposal development, fee estimates, project pursuits, and client presentations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, stakeholders, and industry partners.
Contribute to business development activities, including identifying opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
Stay current with evolving codes, standards, technologies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

Extensive knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, controls, and building automation systems.
Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects and teams.
Strong understanding of applicable building codes, industry standards, and engineering best practices.
Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and industry-standard mechanical design software.
Experience with load calculations, energy modelling, and sustainable building design strategies.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects while balancing technical quality, project budgets, and schedules.
