Intermediate Architectural Staff

DESCRIPTION

We are a planning-led architecture firm, based in downtown Toronto, and working across the country. We are seeking positive, driven, and enthusiastic people who are keen to be bold and make an impact on our world.

The size of our office and the projects we do translates to broad scopes of project involvement for all staff.

Our work lies primarily in the education sector, affordable housing, as well as other areas, such as health care and the design of modular buildings

The successful proponent will have a range of responsibilities including conceptualization, design, detailing, coordination, mentoring of less experienced colleagues, production, and contract administration. They will make use of visualization tools to explore design solutions and work with the team to realize these through all phases of a project.

The successful proponent will be integrated into new projects right away.

Qualifications include

• Completed training as an Architect or Architectural Technologist

• Must have a minimum 5 years of experience outside of professional training

• Very strong spoken, written, and graphic communication skills

• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in designing and detailing through all project phases, leading and coordinating with project team, and interfacing with clients and consultants

• Ability to produce and direct the production of graphic presentations, 3D renderings, schematic & design development drawings

• Proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam, Grasshopper, and Adobe products

• Ability to meet with clients and sub-consultants to understand and coordinate the full range of project elements at all design and construction phases. Experience resolving complex design issues with innovative solutions.
