Seaway Corridor
Architecture49’s Seaway Corridor Region is an office with deep ties across eastern Ontario. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage teams in producing architectural design solutions and construction drawings.
- Manage a group of architectural staff, leading project meetings, and coordinating all other building disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Perform internal reviews and quality checks of the models and drawings to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Serve as a senior client advisor
- Provide technical and administrative oversight to ensure that both the internal and external client needs are met and that the projects are delivered within cost, quality and schedule targets.
- Manage the financial aspect of the project including planning, scheduling, forecasting and staffing and working with accounting to achieve the desired results.
- Travel to communities and work sites in the Seaway Corridor.
Qualifications
- Registered architect in Ontario (OAA).
- 15+ years experience in a similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of both Provincial and National related standards and codes.
- Knowledge of BIM principles & workflows, REVIT software, AutoCAD software, Microsoft 365 environment and Bluebeam.
- Experience with Visualization software, and Adobe Creative Suite would be considered an asset.
- Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with Indigenous communities would be considered an asset.
- Experience in K-12 or post-secondary education an asset.
- Ability to effectively communicate and deliver services in French would be considered an asset.
Applicants must live in, or be willing to relocate to, the Kingston or Cornwall, Ontario area. A relocation allowance may be considered if required.
Compensation:
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $110,600 – 146,500
MB & ON: $100,900 – 139,000
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $99,900 – 132,700
