Original job description

Company Description Arcom Freight Solutions is a freight forwarder based in Vancouver that focuses on precise, reliable execution in global logistics. The company specializes in air, ocean, trucking, customs clearance, and warehousing, offering turnkey solutions that simplify international trade for its clients. Arcom operates as a lean, fast-moving, globally connected organization dedicated to clearing cargo, releasing containers, ensuring on-time trucking, and delivering accurate invoicing. The company is committed to being a trusted, dependable partner that solves problems rather than creating them, and to growing alongside customers who choose to work with Arcom.

Role Description The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing and growing customer accounts, handling inbound and outbound sales activities, and supporting day-to-day logistics operations. This contract role involves qualifying leads, preparing and following up on quotes, responding to customer inquiries, and coordinating closely with operations to ensure smooth shipment execution. The position also includes maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, monitoring customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell services. This is a hybrid role based in West Vancouver, BC, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills, with the ability to convert inquiries into qualified opportunities.
Candidates should possess Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, focusing on responsive communication and relationship-building.
Candidates should possess Account Management skills to maintain, grow, and retain customer relationships over time.
Relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain is beneficial.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort using CRM and office productivity tools.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
High attention to detail, numerical accuracy in quotes and invoicing, and problem-solving mindset.
Post-secondary education in business, commerce, logistics, or a related field is an asset.
