Technical Project Manager – Microsoft Fabric

This job posting is for an existing, active vacancy and we are looking to hire Technical Project Manager – Microsoft Fabric at Brampton, ON.
Skills Required
- 10+ years in IT delivery, including 5+ years as a Technical PM on data or cloud platform programs
- Strong in Microsoft data tools: Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse), ADLS and Power BI
- Working knowledge of Airflow, Informatica, Oracle GoldenGate, Databricks and Snowflake
- Has delivered pilots, PoCs or assessments under fixed-price milestones with formal client sign-off
- Strong at managing dependencies across client infrastructure, security and platform teams
- Has led onsite/offshore teams
- Excellent communication with senior stakeholders
- Nice to have: telecom experience
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end onsite delivery of a Microsoft Fabric pilot running six streams in parallel
- Own the project plan, milestones and critical path
- Drive technical discussions with client architects and platform owners
- Close client dependencies (access, environments, network) and escalate early
- Get milestone deliverables and acceptance evidence signed off
- Control scope and manage change requests
- Maintain RAID logs and run weekly status reporting to client leadership
- Coordinate with the Microsoft account team
- Lead the onsite/offshore team through final handover

Requirements
Requires 10+ years of IT delivery experience, including 5+ years as a technical project manager on data or cloud platform programs, with strong knowledge of Microsoft data tools and working knowledge of several data platforms. Candidates should have delivered fixed-price pilots, proofs of concept, or assessments with formal client sign-off, managed cross-team dependencies, led onsite/offshore teams, and communicated effectively with senior stakeholders; telecom experience is a plus.
