Account Manager – New Business Development

Arivano | Toronto, ON | Full-Time | Base Salary + Commission

Arivano is looking for a driven, highly personable Account Manager – New Business Development to help us grow our client portfolio and build strong relationships with leading brands and businesses.

This is a sales-focused role for someone who is confident building relationships, opening doors, cold calling, prospecting, and turning conversations into long-term clients.

Who You’ll Be Selling To

Our target clients include:

Custom home builders and real estate developers

Leading interior design brands

Building material and construction-related brands

Top interior design and architecture firms

E-commerce brands

Premium and design-driven businesses

What You’ll Do

Identify and pursue new business opportunities

Prospect through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, networking, and direct outreach

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects

Connect with decision-makers including founders, CEOs, marketing leaders, developers, designers, and brand executives

Understand each prospect’s business challenges and identify where Arivano can add value

Present Arivano’s services and develop tailored solutions for prospective clients

Coordinate proposals, presentations, and pitches with our strategy and creative teams

Follow up consistently and move opportunities through the sales process

Build strong relationships that lead to long-term agency partnerships

Maintain accurate pipeline activity and sales reporting in the CRM

Represent Arivano professionally at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings

Who We’re Looking For

You are someone who:

Has exceptional communication and relationship-building skills

Is confident and persuasive on the phone

Is comfortable with cold calling and outbound prospecting

Knows how to start conversations with senior decision-makers

Is persistent without being pushy

Can quickly understand a prospect’s business and identify opportunities

Is highly organized and disciplined with follow-ups

Has a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Is motivated by targets, performance, and commission

Thrives in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience

3+ years of experience in business development, account management, agency sales, B2B sales, or a similar client-facing role

Experience selling marketing, advertising, creative, digital, media, events, or professional services is strongly preferred

Experience working with developers, builders, architecture firms, interior designers, design brands, e-commerce businesses, or luxury brands is an asset

Strong cold-calling and outbound sales experience

Experience managing a sales pipeline and CRM

Strong presentation and negotiation skills

Compensation

Competitive base salary + uncapped commission
