ARKION PlatformStandard

For Executives

Built for boards, CIOs, and audit committees

  • Executive Brief

A non-technical overview of the NHI governance gap and how Arkion closes it. Built to forward to your board.

  • Compliance Crosswalk

DORA, NIS2, ISO 27001:2022, SEC Cyber-Disclosure: mapped to exactly which Arkion capability satisfies each control.

  • Cost of Inaction

Translate NHI exposure into dollars. The cost of a credential-related breach measured against the cost of governing one.

  • Trust Center· soon

Security architecture, sub-processors, DPA / MSA / BAA templates, attestation roadmap. Built for procurement.

Learn

Field notes, principles, and the Standard

  • The NHIG Standard

Version 1.1 of the Non-Human Identity Governance Standard. Principles, vocabulary, maturity model. Open for comment.

  • Field Notes

Regulatory updates, principle additions to the Standard, breach post-mortems. Slow, considered writing from inside the category.

  • AI Agent Governance

What it means to govern an AI agent's identity: provisioning, scoping, revoking. Topic explainer.

  • Certificate Lifecycle

From issuance through rotation to revocation. The cryptographic primitives Arkion is built on.

  • Identity Registry

The single system of record for every non-human identity in your enterprise.

  • Why Now

DORA. NIS2. SEC Cyber-Disclosure. The 2024–2026 timeline that turned NHI governance from optional to required.

Tools

Estimate, scan, and act

  • Risk Estimator

Two minutes. Seven questions. A directional estimate of how many non-human identities are operating outside any governance boundary.

  • Discovery Scan

A read-only scan of one environment. Every NHI found, named, scored. Delivered to your inbox. No agents installed.

  • Implementation Timeline

Day 1 scan. Week 1 findings call. Week 2–3 pilot. Week 4 governed estate. The path from first call to first audit answer.

  • About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who thrives in early-stage environments and loves building UIs from the ground up. As the first frontend hire, you'll take full ownership of the UI layer of a cloud-native platform: dashboards, reporting, inventory management, and core user flows. This is a greenfield project: you'll be building everything from scratch with no legacy or pre-built code.

You'll work closely with the Software Architect, Full-Stack Engineer, and Cloud Deployment Engineer to turn wireframes and requirements into polished, performant user experiences.

  • Responsibilities

What you’ll own.

UI development & architecture

  • Bootstrap, design, and build modern, responsive UIs using frameworks like React, Vue, or similar.
  • Take ownership of the entire frontend codebase, architect the frontend for scalability, reusability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs securely and efficiently.
  • Define and enforce UI architecture, component structure, and optimize front-loading data and state-management strategies.

UX & design thinking

  • Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for complex security workflows and dashboards.
  • Apply design systems, accessibility best practices (WCAG), and consistent UX patterns.
  • Work closely with product and customers to translate complex requirements into elegant experiences.

Collaboration & product ownership

  • Collaborate with product managers to shape features, prototypes, and flows.
  • Identify UX and UI improvements based on customer feedback and usage data.
  • Contribute to defining frontend testing strategy and CI/CD processes.
  • Mentor junior engineers as the team scales.
  • Required Skills

What you’ll bring day one.

Core

  • 4+ years of frontend development experience with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Expertise in Next.js (preferred) and React with deep understanding of hooks and state management (Redux, Zustand, etc.).
  • Experience with TypeScript, component-driven development, and design systems.
  • Strong grasp of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and responsive design techniques.
  • Comfortable with RESTful and secure APIs, including OAuth2 / OIDC integration. Working with Auth0 SDKs or similar SDKs is an asset.
  • Comfortable building Login and Logout flows.
  • Solid understanding of frontend security practices (XSS, CSP, CORS).
  • Experience building admin consoles, dashboards, or SaaS web apps.
  • Familiarity with frontend testing tools (Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD for frontend and modern build tools (Vite, Webpack).
  • Nice to Have
  • Experience working in security, cryptography, or developer tools.
  • Familiarity with Figma, Storybook, or UI design systems for design collaboration.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and browser performance tuning.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, and how frontend fits into modern DevOps pipelines.
  • Prior experience owning a product end-to-end in a startup or early-stage environment.
  • Who You Are
  • You care deeply about user experience and constantly think from the user's perspective.
  • Implementation mindset: you love writing code to test architectural components.
  • You're a self-starter who takes ownership and pushes features from concept to production.
  • You're collaborative, open to feedback, and comfortable working in a cross-functional, remote-first team.
  • Why Join Us

01

Remote & flexible: work from anywhere.

02

Fast-paced, no red tape: move quickly, own decisions, drive real change.

03

Collaborate with industry leaders in cyber security.

04

High-impact role: design and develop UI architecture for a cutting-edge NHI platform.

05

Growth opportunity: exposure to product architecture, automation, and DevOps best practices.
