Description

We’re looking for a dependable and professional Class 1 Truck Driver for day shift regional pick-up and delivery operations. This role is perfect for drivers who thrive working independently, value safety, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You’ll Do

Perform scheduled pick-ups and deliveries across multiple regional stops during day shift hours.
Safely operate Class 1 vehicles in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Load and unload freight with care and accuracy.
Complete documentation and scanning using handheld devices.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely service.
Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of your assigned vehicle.

What You’ll Need

Valid Class 1 License and a clean driver’s abstract.
Proven ability to operate manual transmission trucks is considered an asset.
Minimum 2 years of safe driving experience with tractor-trailers.
Strong knowledge of local and regional routes.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Experience with freight handling and scanning equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled regional freight pick-ups and deliveries during day shifts while operating a Class 1 vehicle safely and following company and regulatory standards. Handle freight, complete scanning and documentation, communicate with dispatch and customers, and maintain the assigned vehicle.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a valid Class 1 license, have a clean driver’s abstract, and have at least two years of safe tractor-trailer driving experience. Strong local and regional route knowledge, independent time management, and freight-handling experience are needed or advantageous; manual transmission and scanning equipment experience are assets.
