Reefer Technician
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in transport and refrigeration required.
- Background working on Carrier Reefers an asset.
- Ability to work independently in a busy shop environment
- Able to troubleshoot, diagnose trailer refrigeration units.
- Performs preventative and scheduled maintenance on equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment to manufacturers’ specs
- Write explanations of work performed.
- Charge out all parts used for the specific task
- Knowledge of Heavy Truck Garage safety principles and behaviors

Responsibilities
The technician is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing trailer refrigeration units according to manufacturer specifications. They also perform scheduled preventative maintenance and document all work and parts used.
Requirements
Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in transport and refrigeration, with specific experience in Carrier Reefers being an asset. Knowledge of heavy truck garage safety principles and the ability to work independently are required.
