Reefer Technician
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in transport and refrigeration required.
- Background working on Carrier Reefers an asset.
- Ability to work independently in a busy shop environment
- Able to troubleshoot, diagnose trailer refrigeration units.
- Performs preventative and scheduled maintenance on equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment to manufacturers’ specs
- Write explanations of work performed.
- Charge out all parts used for the specific task
- Knowledge of Heavy Truck Garage safety principles and behaviors

Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair trailer refrigeration units, following manufacturers’ specifications. Document work performed and charge all parts used to the relevant task.
Requirements
Requires 3–5 years of experience in transport and refrigeration; experience with Carrier reefers is an asset. Candidates should be able to work independently in a busy shop, diagnose refrigeration units, perform maintenance and repairs, and follow heavy truck garage safety practices.
