Job Description

Kickstart Your Career in Sales with Armstrong!

Imagine working at the forefront of innovation in fluid-flow technology, with over 1,400 colleagues across the globe, and contributing to a legacy of excellence that spans eight manufacturing facilities on four continents. Armstrong Fluid Technology is more than just a leader in our industry; we are a community of the brightest and most creative minds, driven by a shared mission to engineer the future and safeguard our planet.

If you are a driven graduate with a passion for customer engagement, technical solutions, and value-based selling, Armstrong’s Graduate Development Program is your gateway to that mission. Through immersive rotations, mentorship, and hands-on experience in sales and digital services, you’ll gain the skills to make a lasting impact while shaping the future of intelligent fluid-flow technology.

This position is based in Alberta and follows a hybrid work arrangement, with the majority of the role performed remotely. Frequent travel to Armstrong’s Toronto office will be required, with travel expenses covered by the company.

Program Highlights

12-Month Rotational Journey – Gain hands-on experience across sales functions including business development, account management, customer solutions, and sales analytics & enablement.
Customer Engagement – Work directly with clients, learning how to position Armstrong’s differentiated solutions and deliver measurable value.
Value & Solution Selling – Master Armstrong’s scientific and consultative approach to sales, focusing on solving customer challenges.
Learning & Mentorship – Develop your technical, commercial, and leadership skills through structured training and personalized mentorship.
Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with Marketing, Service, and Engineering teams to bring innovative customer solutions to market.

What We’re Looking For

Education – A recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related fields); candidates with a dual background in Business/Management and technical disciplines are also encouraged to apply.
Early Exposure to Sales or Projects – Internship, co-op, or academic project experience related to sales, technical solutions, customer engagement, or business development is highly valued.
Communication Skills – Strong written and verbal communication; able to simplify complex technical concepts and confidently present to different audiences.
Analytical Skills – Demonstrated ability to break down problems, analyze data, and recommend solutions (through coursework, projects, or competitions).
Digital Skills – Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with CRM systems, data analysis tools, or collaboration platforms is an advantage.
Team Orientation – Track record of working effectively in group projects, student organizations, or part-time jobs that required teamwork and collaboration.
Adaptability – Willingness to learn quickly, adapt to new challenges, and operate in a fast-paced, global business environment.
Drive and Initiative – Evidence of a proactive, self-motivated approach, whether through academics, extracurriculars, volunteer work, or leadership roles.
Values Alignment – Open, authentic, and passionate about contributing to Armstrong’s mission of innovation, sustainability, and customer impact.

Why Join Armstrong?

Be part of a global leader in intelligent fluid-flow technology.
Develop a career in solution and value-based selling, not just product sales.
Work in a culture that values innovation, integrity, and collaboration.
Access career growth opportunities across our global network.

Compensation

$60,000 CAD - $65,000 CAD
