Our core services include brand strategy and development, graphic design and collateral, custom web development, website hosting, and digital marketing through Google Ads and SEO.

Role Description

We're looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team in Nanaimo, BC.

This is a full-time role for someone who combines strong hands-on digital marketing skills with strategic thinking and excellent client communication. You'll work across a diverse portfolio of established clients, taking ownership of digital campaigns and helping clients understand not just what we're doing, but why we're doing it and how it's contributing to their goals.

A significant focus of the role is Google Ads, SEO, analytics and ongoing digital strategy. You'll plan, execute, monitor and optimize campaigns; analyze performance; identify opportunities; prepare reporting and recommendations; and work directly with clients on ongoing strategy and renewals.

You'll also collaborate closely with Array's designers, developers and leadership team to ensure our digital strategies connect effectively with our clients' broader brands, websites and business objectives.

As you grow within the role, there is an opportunity to take increasing ownership of Array's Digital Marketing offering and help shape how this area of our agency continues to evolve.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone with:

3+ years of professional digital marketing experience, ideally within an agency or client-service environment.
Strong hands-on experience managing Google Ads, including Search and Display campaigns, campaign optimization, keyword strategy, budgets and performance analysis.
Strong working knowledge of SEO, including keyword research, on-page optimization, metadata, content strategy and technical SEO.
Experience with Google Analytics/GA4, reporting and interpreting performance data to make meaningful recommendations.
The ability to develop digital marketing strategies based on client objectives, audience needs and measurable outcomes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence presenting recommendations and results directly to clients.
Experience managing multiple client accounts, priorities, budgets and deadlines.
A proactive mindset and the ability to identify opportunities to improve campaign performance and deliver additional value to clients.
Strong attention to detail, organization and follow-through.
The ability to collaborate effectively with designers, developers and other members of a multidisciplinary agency team.
Experience with Google Tag Manager, Search Console, Looker Studio, WordPress or related digital marketing tools is an asset.
Relevant education in marketing, communications, business or a related discipline is preferred, although demonstrated experience and expertise are equally important.
