Job Title: Box Truck Driver – G Class or Higher
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Concord, ON
Pay Rate: $20.25/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Job Description
We are currently hiring an experienced Box Truck Driver for Noble HVAC in Concord, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering products to customer job sites and shops, picking up returns and orders from vendors, and assisting with warehouse duties when deliveries are slow.
The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of commercial delivery driving experience, a valid G Class licence or higher, and be comfortable with both driving and physical warehouse work.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customer job sites and shops safely and on time.
- Pick up customer returns and purchase orders from vendors.
- Load and unload products from the truck.
- Secure the load properly and ensure the vehicle remains clean and well maintained.
- Carry all required vehicle documents, including licence, insurance, and CVOR documentation.
- Unload incoming freight upon returning to the branch.
- Assist with order picking, shipping, and receiving when delivery work is slow.
- Operate a forklift when required and qualified.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with customers.
- Follow all traffic laws and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial delivery driving experience, including loading and unloading.
- Valid G Class driver's licence or higher is mandatory.
- Clean driving record and driver's abstract required.
- Must provide a 3-year driver's abstract issued within the last 3 months.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable performing both driving and warehouse duties.
- Strong time-management, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
