Onsite Manager / Forklift Trainer

Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Onsite Manager / Forklift Trainer to oversee onsite operations while also providing forklift testing and training across multiple client locations. The ideal candidate will have previous hands-on experience as a forklift trainer and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing operational needs.
This role requires someone who is flexible with their schedule and willing to travel between sites to conduct forklift testing, training, and related onsite support.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day onsite operations and provide support to employees and client teams.
- Conduct forklift training, testing, and operator evaluations in accordance with workplace safety requirements.
- Travel between multiple client sites to deliver forklift training and testing as required.
- Ensure forklift operators are properly trained, evaluated, and compliant with site safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate training, testing, and certification records.
- Monitor workplace safety practices and address any safety concerns or training gaps.
- Coordinate with clients, employees, and internal teams to ensure smooth onsite operations.
- Provide coaching and guidance to employees regarding safe equipment operation and workplace procedures.
- Support operational needs and assist with resolving onsite issues as they arise.
- Be flexible to work different hours depending on client requirements and training schedules.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous professional experience as a Forklift Trainer is required.
- Hands-on experience operating and training others on forklifts.
- Experience conducting forklift testing and operator evaluations.
- Previous experience in an onsite management, warehouse, logistics, or operations environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Must be comfortable travelling between different client sites across the GTA.
- Flexible availability to accommodate varying site and training schedules.
- Valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation would be an asset.
