Logistics Clerk

Location: Richmond, BC

Employment Type: 3 Months Contract (Possible Extension)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Pay Rate: $25.70/hour

Start Date: ASAP

Job Summary

We are seeking a Logistics Clerk to provide administrative and clerical support to our logistics operations team in Richmond, BC. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a logistics, transportation, freight, distribution, or warehouse environment and be comfortable handling data entry, documentation, customer service, and general office responsibilities.

The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day clerical and administrative support to the logistics operations team.
Perform accurate data entry and maintain logistics-related records and documentation.
Assist with processing and updating shipment, delivery, and transportation information.
Support the team with filing, document management, and general office administration.
Respond to customer and internal inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Review information for accuracy and follow up on discrepancies when required.
Use Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook, for daily tasks.
Communicate with internal teams, customers, drivers, and other stakeholders as required.
Assist with other logistics and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

Previous experience in logistics, transportation, freight, distribution, or a warehouse environment is required.
Previous clerical, administrative, or logistics coordination experience preferred.
Customer service experience is an asset.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Comfortable with data entry and handling a high volume of information accurately.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive, reliable, and responsible with a positive attitude.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong team player with the ability to work independently when required.
Available to start ASAP and commit to a minimum of 2–3 months.
