Warehouse Team Lead
Location: Brampton, ON
Tenure: Temp to Perm
Pay: $20/hour
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Warehouse Team Lead to oversee daily warehouse activities, assign tasks, support warehouse associates, and ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory.
- Assign tasks and monitor team productivity to meet daily targets.
- Train, guide, and support warehouse associates.
- Operate order pickers and other forklifts as required.
- Assist with inventory counts, loading, and unloading trailers.
- Ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.
- Maintain warehouse safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Report operational issues and productivity updates to management.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is required.
- Valid Order Picker license is highly preferred.
- Team lead or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Additional forklift experience is an asset.
- Basic computer skills and experience with RF scanners.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse duties.
