Overview

BW Gold is a wholly owned subsidiary of Artemis Gold Inc (“Artemis”). Artemis Gold is a well-financed, growth-oriented gold development company with a strong financial capacity aimed at creating shareholder value through the identification, acquisition, and development of gold properties in mining-friendly jurisdictions. The Company's current focus is the Blackwater Mine in central British Columbia approximately 160km southwest of Prince George and 450km northeast of Vancouver. Location: Blackwater Mine site

Schedule: Two (2) Weeks On – Two (2) Weeks Off Rotation

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate effective safety leadership by addressing and enforcing BW Golds safety standards, procedures, and safety systems.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment and processes.
• Willingness to be cross trained across Plant Unit functions.
• May require to maintain a clean-shaven appearence (i.e. no facial hair) to ensure the safe and effective use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) associated with assigned duties.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Operational Gold Process Plant Experience (Min. OP 3 Level)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Multistage crushing experience.
• CIL operational experience 
• Cyanide destruct operational experience

Preferred Skills 

• Ability to work at a remote location camp on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation.
• Comfortable working and living in close quarters with the team.
• Ability to maintain high levels of performance over 12-hour shift.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs throughout a work shift.
• Ability to work night shift and in extreme weather conditions.
• Forklift and crane operation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
