Key Responsibilities

Yard Inventory & Safety Compliance

  • Verify incoming shipments against packing slips, manifests, and purchase orders; report discrepancies or damaged goods immediately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free laydown yard, ensuring clear emergency access and proper segregation of materials.
  • Adhere strictly to the BC Health, Safety and Reclamation Code for Mines, WorkSafeBC standards, and site-specific zero-harm policies.
  • May be required to maintain a clean-shaven appearance (i.e. no facial hair) to ensure the safe and effective use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) associated with assigned duties.
