The Opportunity

Preparing and developing architectural, civil and engineering drawings, models, sketches, and other documents within a Building Information Modelling (BIM) focused environment
Help manage in-coming and out-going model and drawing information
Co-ordinating work with other disciplines
Troubleshoot problems that arise in a rapidly changing project environment
Working directly with engineering colleagues and other professionals
Ensure accurate Quality Assurance/Quality Control protocols are implemented
Develop software skills necessary to be successful in their project assignments
Project and team administrative duties
Supports senior BIM Designers on projects and office-wide BIM initiatives

Is this role right for you?

For this opportunity, we are seeking the following qualifications, skills and attributes:

Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering/architectural technology or related field
Experience in Revit and/or AutoCAD
Experience in Microstation and/or Civil 3D
Knowledge of coordination tools: Navisworks, Revisto
Knowledge of collaboration tools: ACC, SharePoint, ProjectWise
Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future

Preferred

Certificate in BIM Management will be an asset
Design portfolio will be an asset
Knowledge in Dynamo, Rhino, Grasshopper, and other programming tool is an asset
Knowledge of Digital Projects, Tekla
Knowledge of Bentley InRoads/OpenRoads
Knowledge of ISO19650
Previous experience in the AEC industry

Toronto Hiring Range – Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in Toronto is $72,250 to $74,250 per year. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Toronto will differ.

Responsibilities

Requirements

An associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering or architectural technology, or a related field, is sought, along with experience using Revit and/or AutoCAD; experience with MicroStation and/or Civil 3D is also listed. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada without employer-sponsored authorization, and knowledge of coordination and collaboration tools is expected; BIM management certification, AEC experience, and additional listed software and standards are assets.
