Company Description Ascend Group is a certified distributor of Midea air conditioning systems, serving businesses and professionals across Ontario. The company operates a modern 3,000-square-foot showroom in Mississauga, designed to showcase Midea’s latest heat pump and air conditioning technologies in a practical, hands-on environment. Adjacent to the showroom is a 30,000-square-foot warehouse that supports a broad inventory and reliable product availability. This combination of showroom and warehouse allows Ascend Group to provide efficient order fulfillment and responsive service to its customers. Team members join a growing organization focused on quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction in the HVAC sector.

About the Role

We're looking for a technically minded, service-driven Junior Technical Support Specialist to support our dealer and contractor network across Midea and Proair HVAC products. This is a hands-on role for someone with 0–2 years of experience who's comfortable troubleshooting systems, managing multiple open cases, and communicating clearly with contractors in the field.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to dealer and contractor technical inquiries by phone, email.
Troubleshoot ductless mini-splits, heat pumps, and related systems using error codes, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
Log, track, and escalate support cases through to resolution, including warranty claims.
Build and maintain technical documentation, FAQs, and dealer portal knowledge-base content.
Support dealer training sessions, product launches, and trade show activities.
Flag recurring field issues and product feedback to internal product and procurement teams.

Requirements

0–2 years of experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or technical support.
Proven experience as an HVAC/R Technician or mechanic with a solid understanding of HVAC systems and refrigeration technology
