• Develop and execute strategic and operational plans that support growth and long-term business objectives
• Drive operational excellence, productivity, quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction across the organization
• Expand market presence and support growth initiatives across key commercial and industrial sectors, including critical infrastructure, transportation, utilities, government, and industrial markets
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
• Develop, coach, and mentor leaders while fostering employee engagement, accountability, collaboration, and high performance
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, and key stakeholders
• Partner with the Managing Director, North America, to achieve strategic, operational, and financial goals while aligning with ASSA ABLOY objectives
• Travel within Canada, the United States, and internationally, as required. A valid passport and driver's licence are required

Desired Skills & Knowledge
• Strong business, financial, and operational acumen with demonstrated P&L management experience
• Leadership experience within manufacturing, construction, industrial, or project-based environments
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate high-performing teams
• Strong strategic planning, execution, and change management capabilities
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical abilities
• Ability to drive continuous improvement, organizational change, operational efficiency, and business growth
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and business management software

Required Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
• Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience, including senior management responsibilities with full P&L accountability
• Significant leadership experience within manufacturing, industrial, building products, security solutions, or a related industry
• Demonstrated success leading multi-functional teams and driving operational excellence, business growth, and profitability
• Experience within the perimeter security, access control, fencing, gate systems, or related industries is considered an asset

We are the ASSA ABLOY Group
Our people have made us the global leader in access solutions. In return, we open doors for them wherever they go. With nearly 63,000 colleagues in more than 70 different countries, we help billions of people experience a more open world. Our innovations make all sorts of spaces – physical and virtual – safer, more secure, and easier to access.

As an employer, we value results – not titles, or backgrounds. We empower our people to build their career around their aspirations and our ambitions – supporting them with regular feedback, training, and development opportunities. Our colleagues think broadly about where they can make the most impact, and we encourage them to grow their role locally, regionally, or even internationally.

As we welcome new people on board, it’s important to us to have diverse, inclusive teams, and we value different perspectives and experiences.
