- Guide operational leaders regarding modified work, accommodation obligations, and disability management procedures.
- Develop and improve disability management procedures, modified work programs, and standardized claims management practices.
- Develop and coordinate individualized accommodation and return-to-work plans based on physical demands analysis, functional abilities, and operational requirements.
- Coordinate return-to-work planning for employees returning from disability and/or non-injury-related leaves of absence, ensuring appropriate collaboration with operational leaders and clinical education if applicable.

- Maintain proactive WCB claim communications, coordinating with WCB representatives, employees, operational leaders, and internal stakeholders while providing timely and appropriate updates.
- Track and report WCB costs, claim volumes, lost-time days, claim duration, modified work participation, and return-to-work outcomes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all STD/LTD claims, coordinating communication among all relevant parties and providing timely stakeholder updates while safeguarding confidential medical information and ensuring compliance with applicable privacy legislation.
- Track, analyze, and report on STD/LTD claims, including incident rates, claim duration, indirect employer costs, and other relevant metrics to identify trends, assess financial impacts, and support informed decision-making.
- Maintain accurate, confidential case management records and ensure compliance with applicable legislation and privacy requirements across the board.
