Job Title: Flight Instructor Competency Manager & IT Support Admin

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically savvy Training Operations & Competency Coordinator to support our flight training organization. This role combines training competency administration and first-level IT support, ensuring instructors maintain required certifications and have the tools they need to deliver world-class pilot and simulator training.

Responsibilities

Administer and monitor instructor competency records to ensure compliance with training and certification requirements.
Track instructor qualifications, certifications, recurrent training requirements, and competency expirations.
Coordinate planned competency development and upskilling activities for instructors, supporting their professional progression.
Generate and analyze weekly reports to identify upcoming recertification deadlines, missing training requirements, and compliance risks.
Proactively notify instructors and management of training actions required to maintain qualifications.
Maintain accurate competency data within competency management systems and internal tools.
Review training documentation, competency standards, operating procedures, and qualification guides to ensure adherence to training requirements.
Support a training instructor population of approximately 10 to 20 instructors.
Assist with audits and training compliance reviews by providing accurate qualification and certification records.
Manage competency information within Airbus training management and competency tracking platforms.
Navigate and maintain multiple internal systems, including MyControl Tower and other training-related applications.
Ensure training records, certifications, and user information remain accurate and up to date.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, and administrative efficiency.
Provide first-level technical support to instructors, training staff, and simulator users.
Troubleshoot common hardware and software issues, including projector and display connectivity issues, network and internet access problems, iPad synchronization and connectivity issues, and user access and login issues.
