Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator Job Description

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will play a key role in handling administrative tasks, onboarding, updating various HR systems, managing general employee issues, and assisting with recruitment for basic plant positions.

Responsibilities

Support the communication of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines to employees across the organization.
Assist with benefits administration and employee education, including answering basic questions and escalating complex cases to senior HR.
Maintain HR and training databases and support accurate record-keeping and filing systems.
Ensure employee personnel files are accurate and up to date, following established processes and compliance requirements.
Perform data entry and updates in HRIS and payroll-related systems, with review by senior HR.
Provide payroll backup support as needed, assisting with audits, corrections, and data validation.
Assist with recruitment and onboarding activities across all Canadian facilities.
Support employee relations matters by assisting with documentation, intake of employee concerns, and coordination with senior HR.
Assist with employee orientation and training coordination, ensuring materials and schedules are prepared.
Help build and maintain relationships with external employment agencies, supporting communication and scheduling.
Support planning and coordination of employee events and engagement activities.
Provide clerical and administrative support for HR initiatives, including document preparation and translations when required.
Assist with Health & Safety activities as required, in collaboration with senior HR and H&S teams.
Support additional HR projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
