Prepare reporting schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
Assist in the completion and review of regulatory filings.
Ensure reporting accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Assist with IFRS 17-related process enhancements and implementation activities.
Support testing, controls validation, data verification, and user acceptance testing.

Help reduce workload across the finance team during peak periods and project milestones.
Quickly adapt to changing priorities and business needs.

Essential Skills

5-8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
Experience within Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance is required.
Strong forecasting, financial reporting, and regulatory reporting skills.
Proficiency in month-end and quarter-end close processes.
Experience in FP&A, accounting, financial analysis, and budgeting.
Strong general ledger and reconciliation skills.
Proven experience in variance analysis and internal controls.

Work Environment

This role follows a hybrid work model with a requirement of 3 days per week in the office, totaling 37.5 hours a week. The office is located in Toronto.
